In a recent feature from The Homestead — a regenerative retreat and private lodge in South Africa’s Karoo — Coral + Hive’s rugs are celebrated for how they connect craft, nature, and interior experience.
The story dives into our handwoven process and partnership with The Homestead’s interior design team, where each rug was thoughtfully created to echo the surrounding landscape. Using a blend of Karakul wool, jute, and natural textures, we translated the tones, rhythm, and stillness of the Karoo into tactile pieces designed to anchor the lodge’s serene spaces.
